Our Story
Beth's Bakery is a family owned and operated bakery. Wapakoneta's Premier spot for superb cakes and cookies. Started by Beth Brookhart in 1995, “Beth’s Bakery” has become a local treasure due the quality of our baked good and the artistry in its decoration. Throughout our 25+ years of business, all four of Beth’s sons, as well as many other friends and family members, have helped with bakery duties. Beth’s Bakery since is first day of operation has been all about working as a family.
Now in its second generation of ownership, the daily operations have been handed down to Anthony Brookhart, Beth’s Second oldest son. Having trained as a professional chef at Johnson & Wales University, also having worked in EPCOT’s Catering kitchen at Walt Disney World, Anthony returned home to Ohio in 2010 to be closer to family. Beth retired from bakery work in 2018, and after the business being closed for over a year, Anthony decided to re-open the bakery after much encouragement from the local community.

Beth's cakes and cookies though from a small town have traveled the world, and have been enjoyed by names such as the band 98 degrees, and the singer song writer Carol King.
